This project involved refurbishment and extension of an early 1900s dual occupancy unit. Work included home extension to include new kitchen, dining and laundry areas as well as refurbishment of entire home and external walls.
KEY CHALLANGES
One of the main challenges faced was construction on tight access, requiring careful planning to ensure project runs smoothly. Another notable challenge was to ensure refurbishment into exiting areas maintained the character and age of the dwelling and design and materials transitions smoothly from old to the new part of the dwelling.
